While Technicon focuses on presenting product information online, we recognize the importance of print documents in the sales process. Unfortunately, companies often find producing up-to-date print catalogs and spec sheets requires herculean efforts.

Typically, the time it takes to put out a new print catalog results in content that is out-of-date even before it’s printed. Too often, sales staff and customers rely on dog-eared old catalogs to find product information.

CustomCommerce serves as a central repository for all your product marketing data. The same data that is published to your online catalogs can be repurposed for print catalogs, price lists and spec sheets.

For documents with simple formatting, product data can be output directly to PDF files using CustomCommerce’s publishing tools. For more complex documents, product data can be exported to Adobe® InDesign®.

Technicon teams with leading Adobe partners to create InDesign templates that accommodate sophisticated layouts. Pages can incorporate multiple images, tables and diagrams.

The publishing process is fully automated. Product data is passed directly to a custom InDesign application through a Web service and the resulting output is placed in a designated location when completed.
