TechniCon is looking for a senior software engineer experienced in Web application development.

Although TechniCon is an established company, the company has a "startup mentality."

As part of a small team of developers, you'll have opportunity to define your role and take on both program and project responsibility.

As a team member, you will:

• Participate in the design and development of TechniCon system components
• Develop highly-interactive AJAX-driven user interfaces
• Setup databases and Web configurations
• Test and support TechniCon systems
• Provide rough drafts for system documentation

You should also be comfortable communicating with clients, including technical and non-technical individuals.

Qualifications include:

• 5+ years of application development experience
• Experience with technologies such as ColdFusion, Java, JavaScript, HTML, XML and DOM
• A fundamental understanding of the Web-client model
• Experience with server programming and SQL
• A desire to be a contributor to a team

Full-time positions are available in Emeryville and St. Louis. Compensation depends on experience.
