VIEWING TIPS

The TechniCon.com Web site is designed to be compatible with most Internet browsers. However, we do recommend specific configurations as older browsers may not support the latest Internet technology. By using the recommended configurations, you will be able to take advantage of all our site's features.
Browsers:
The recommended browser is Internet Explorer, versions 5.5 and above. JavaScript should be enabled. If JavaScript is disabled:
  1. Go to "Tools | Internet Options..." from the Internet Explorer main menu.
  2. Change to the "Security" tab.
  3. Click on the "Custom Level..." button.
  4. Scroll three quarters of the way down the list to "Scripting."
  5. Under "Active Scripting," check "Enable."
  6. Click the "OK" buttons to confirm the change and exit.
Display Settings:
Your screen resolution should be set to a minimum of 800 x 600 pixels. Higher resolutions will provide enhanced viewing results. To change your Windows screen resolution:
  1. Right-click on an open area of the Windows desktop.
  2. Click on "Properties" at the bottom of the resulting pop-up menu.
  3. Change to the "Settings" tab on the far right.
  4. Adjust the setting of the "Desktop" or "Screen area" slider. The precise resolution setting will appear below the slider.
  5. Click the "Apply" button at the bottom right, and follow the prompts to save the new setting.
  6. Note: if you like a higher resolution but find it difficult to read screen text, click the "Advanced" button on the "Settings" dialog box and change the "Font Size" from "Small Fonts" to "Large Fonts."
Printing:
We have made printer-friendly downloads available for many pages on this Web site. However, should you have difficulty printing a full Web page, reduce your margins in "File | Page Setup" from the Internet Explorer main menu, or change your layout to landscape format in the "Print" command.
